Governors

The school governing body is an essential component in the success of Fairfield School. We have a vital role to play in raising school standards, setting targets for pupil achievement, making sure the curriculum is balanced, appointing staff, reviewing staff performance and pay, managing the schools finances and many more. Governors have a responsibility to monitor and review the aims and objectives, policies, plans and procedures of the school and are accountable for the performance of the school. School governors are made up of various members from parents, staff, the local authority and the community.
